Tutoring
Assessments tell us where to begin. From there, each session becomes diagnostic and prescriptive, digging into the root of the deficiency and filling one gap at a time. We use a variety of methods, depending on age and individual needs. We understand the complexity and impact of learning differences on student performance. We treat each student as an individual and base our pedagogy on individual needs.
Students who exhibit characteristics of dyslexia are taught using the Orton-Gillingham Approach. While anyone can learn to read using this approach, it is not needed by all who struggle with literacy.
